這次的作品，源自於幾年前我們首次見到 Adjustable Costume 與十九世紀知名藝術家 William Morris 所做出的一系列花襯衫作品中，所啟發的靈感。

細心觀察各類植物、作物，於四季之間不同的變化。以及藤蔓、花朵、昆蟲、鳥類之間的巧妙平衡，這些景色也成了後續 William Morris 的創作靈感發想。

值得一提的是，這次所取材的這幅畫作，由於年代久遠、加上資料不足，所以全名以：William Morris by Barbara Brackman 來命名。

出生於 1945 年的 Barbara Brackman，是位研究美國被單花樣的歷史學家。在24 歲時，她開始將研究期間找到的花色匯集成冊。

自 1800 年到 1970 年期間的花色，由於部分已經追溯不到原始的命名資料。後續才會看到以 Barbara Brackman 為名的布料名稱。

以全棉質完成的開領襯衫，加上俐落的衣長、手袖，相信後續也將持為您夏日最常穿用的作品！
