PREQUEL（前傳）這個品牌名稱，源自電影術語中指稱故事前篇的意涵。品牌致力將古早服飾的細節元素融入當代審美，從過往經典男裝的閱歷中汲取靈感，呈現嶄新風格。並透過超越時代的時尚設計，持續推進著男士衣著的巨輪。

始於百年布料藏書的 PREQUEL，對於布料色調的調配自然有獨到見解。取材自 40 年代被美軍因應不同作戰地域，而廣為使用的雙面獵鴨迷彩，並使用大家熟悉的 Indigo 染色完成。

由於染色僅止於表面，在後續頻繁的洗滌、穿用之下，也將漸漸褪色出獨一無二的經年變化效果。

設定上為相對休閒的短褲樣式，因此保有便利性的多口袋收納配置 ; 褲襠的開合系統選用日本製的 Waldes 拉鍊，適中的及膝長度，也能自由地以反折的方式變換。
