1960 年代越戰時期，美軍因應熱帶氣候所製作的 Tropical Combat Jacket，雖然後續包含迷彩、十字紋面料，甚至短袖剪裁...等，總共推出了將近十個版本，但是對於喜愛經典風味的老玩家來說，初代還是最有收藏價值的呢！

對於原本都是著用質感硬挺、扎實人字紋面料製軍服的美軍士兵來說，一到又濕又熱的越南叢林地區，在越戰初期因著無法適應當地氣候，進而嚴重影響到作戰表現。因此馬上採用更加輕薄的面料製作出，擁有四口袋置物機能、側腰調節扣…等設計的 Combat Tropical Coat。雖然名為 Coat，但是其實美軍都把它當成襯衫使用呢！

除了初代本身所擁有的經典地位外，約莫 5.5 oz 左右輕薄的純棉防風面料，不就正式適合在台灣一年四季著用嗎？
